Today I signed up for genetic testing at FamilyTreeDNA.com: https://www.familytreedna.com/
I've always been interested in my background, and even though I'm aware of the limitations of this kind of testing, I feel it's worth a try. My biological father's side, the Clements family, supposedly are part Native American (Florida Seminole), and my mom's family claimed to be descendents of the original 1620 Pilgrims, including Roger Williams (founder of Rhode Island).
I'll keep you posted on the results, and whether they meet or exceed my expectations.
